God is good!

Tonight our hearts are full of prayful thanksgiving to God, The Great Physician!
Mom made it through surgery just fine. It lasted about 2 hours and she was in recovery for about 2 hours. Please take a few minutes to pray in thanksgiving for the many blessings we received today.

Just to name a few:

We have been so blessed with a fabulous ongologist who is also Mom's surgeon. He is very experienced and always willing to give us as much of his time as needed. He answers our many questions and explains everything in detail. We are blessed.

The surgeon found no surprises during the procedure. This is huge news because it means that we still have a good "battle plan" and real hope for overcoming this beast. We are blessed.

It was major surgery affecting many organs so Mom is in a lot of pain. However, her attitude is still so incredibly positive. We are blessed.

So many family members and friends have stepped forward to help us in many, many ways....praying, phone calls, encouragement, babysitting, getting Katherine to and from school, cards, and the list goes on. Please know that we appreciate you all more than we will ever be able to express! We are blessed.
